Resources For Life

Technical Help

  • What is Resources for Life?

Resources for Life is a ministry of Covenant Theological Seminary designed to equip you with grace-filled, gospel-centered free resources for your own personal study and for the encouragement of the worldwide church.

  • What resources are available?

Audio and print resources from a variety of Covenant Seminary faculty members and friends are available to you for download or streaming.

  • What is the difference between searching and browsing?

Use our Search bar to find any resource related to a particular keyword (e.g., topic, Scripture, author/speaker, etc.). Use our Browse feature to see a selection of resources that we recommend on particular topics, or to browse by author or book of the Bible.

  • What are the technical requirements for Resources for Life materials?

Our audio resources are available in MP3 format; print resources are in PDF format. Both formats are widely supported and work well on both the Macintosh and Windows platforms. Although higher-speed Internet connections offer the best experience, slower modem connections will also work to access the resources.

  • How do I access MP3 files?

MP3 audio files can be downloaded or streamed directly through your Web browser. Many media applications will play this file format. If you do not have Windows Media Player, iTunes, Real Player, or some other media application already installed on your computer, you can download the free Real Player. www.real.com/player (The free player is sufficient -- you do not have to purchase their latest special offer.)

Audio files may be downloaded to your hard drive or other audio device for later listening by right-clicking your mouse on the download link, clicking on the “Save Target As” option, and saving the file to the folder of your choice.

  • How do I access print resources?

Many of our resources are posted in PDF format. If you do not already have one, the free Adobe Reader application is available for download. Links to PDF documents will open a new browser window. These documents may be printed out or saved to your hard drive for future use.
